Jeff graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Mathematics in 2000. Jeff then began working as a high school math teacher for George Walton Academy in Monroe that same year and has continued there ever since. Once completing his graduate degree in Mathematics Education from UGA in 2003, he immediately began teaching evenings at Georgia Perimeter College and continued there until marrying his wife, Misty, in 2005. Together they have three beautiful daughters, Ellie, Abbie, and Hannah Ruth. As they began their family, they began contemplating which educational paths their children should take, and they strongly felt that God was leading them towards homeschooling. Jeff was introduced to Scholars Guild Academy through family members and is tremendously excited about this opportunity. Personally, he has been the worship leader at the church he attends for the past 13 years and is incredibly fulfilled doing God’s work. His hobbies include piano, basketball, crosswords, games of all kind, and chocolate (if that can be considered a hobby). Most of all he enjoys spending quiet evenings at home with his family.
